Situation

Ben launched Worksite Fitness with a solid visual identity, but the brand itself lacked direction. His mission was broad, his positioning blended into a crowded and saturated fitness market without clear niche positioning (a common challenge for service-based businesses), and his service offerings were not concisely defined. Despite a large TikTok following, the platform reached the wrong audience, leading to no client conversions. He brought me in to clarify what he actually does, refine how he communicates it, and build a structure that could convert visibility into future business through strategic brand positioning.

Challenge

The challenge wasn’t aesthetics - it was clarity, specifically, a lack of clear market differentiation. Ben needed a distinct market position, a service portfolio people could understand, and a brand messaging that aligned across platforms. Without a unifying strategy, effective website, or cohesive framework, potential clients couldn’t grasp his unique expertise or the full value of movement restoration. My role was to create that clarity, elevate the brand to match his extraordinary skills, build the right visibility channels, and set him up for sustainable growth.

Strategy

  • Brand Positioning & Messaging

    • Repositioned Ben as a Movement Restoration Specialist to differentiate him from traditional fitness providers, creating a distinct market category rather than competing in an existing one.

    • Built all messaging and content direction around his unique talent and expertise-driven positioning.

  • Business Development

    • Restructured his entire service portfolio to better reflect his expertise and strengthen the overall business model.

    • Introduced him to new networking groups and facilitated access to high-value professional circles to support in-person visibility and lead generation.

  • Website & Services Architecture

    • Conducted a full website and business audit.

    • Developed the strategy for a new SEO-optimized website and produced all new content to improve search visibility and attract the right audience.

    • Guided layout improvements to highlight Ben’s credibility, certifications, and movement-focused approach.

    • Created case studies and an expanded FAQ to help prospects understand his value and specialties.

  • Digital Footprint & Platform Alignment

    • Ran a comprehensive digital footprint analysis, identifying searchability issues and inconsistent listings.

    • Transformed Ben’s basic personal LinkedIn profile into a strong professional presence through promoting him as a thought leader in his field, and built aligned business profiles

    • Coached him on outreach, posting, and engagement to build credibility with the right audience.

  • PR & Promotional Strategy

    • Developed cohesive promotional kits, including a bio, brand story, and case studies for outreach.

    • Crafted targeted media pitches and pitched Ben to podcasts, local outlets, and industry-relevant media.

New Clients & Revenue Growth

  • Introducing Ben to three targeted networking groups directly resulted in 13 new clients, generating approximately $ 8,600 in new revenue.

  • Overall client acquisition increased to an average of 3 new clients per month in 2025, up from 1 per month in 2024.

Stronger Digital Presence

  • Steady growth across all platforms, including a major leap on LinkedIn from 59 to 722 followers.

  • TikTok engagement increased by 32% year over year; YouTube subscribers grew by 36%.

High-Value Media Exposure

  • A Times Union feature reached approximately 30,000 email subscribers with an estimated EAV of $5,780.

  • Spectrum News feature reached an estimated 100,000 viewers with an EAV of approximately $2,000.

  • A Cover-story feature reached approximately 2,000 homeowners in Albany’s most affluent neighborhood with an estimated EAV of $2,200.

  • A guest appearance on the Above the Bar podcast increased his visibility on a show with a combined audience of more than 2,000 followers across LinkedIn and Instagram.
