As Director of Corporate Sales in Germany, I actually had virtually nothing to do with the jewels of Tiffany & Co….

However, every time I entered the Tiffany & Co. store on Goethestrasse, my gaze was drawn to one of the sparkling stones: lagoon-colored aquamarines, violet-blue tanzanites, pink tourmalines, light green peridots, deep orange topazes. Whenever I could, I listened with rapt attention to the stories of mines and royal colors. Sapphires from Kashmir, rubies from Moghok, aquamarines from Santa Maria in Brazil, emeralds from Colombia—each stone had an interesting story and an adventurous journey behind it. My love for colored gemstones was born.

Many years after Tiffany & Co., in 2005, a friend asked me to make a colored gemstone ring for her husband.

Why me? Because that's you.

That was the beginning of UNIQUE by DAGMAR TRIPPEN.
