  • New Revenue Stream through Digital Fundraising

RIVER VALLEY REGIONAL YMCA LOCK HAVEN BRANCH, PA

The Lock Haven YMCA Branch (1,100+ members) in Central PA had an urgent requirement to raise $880K for a capital campaign to restore their pool facilities.

    Challenge:

The district executive director enlisted my help. My mission was to inspire the CEO about the potential of digital fundraising methods and subsequently to take the responsibility to strategize and spearhead the "public phase" of the campaign.

    Strategy:

    • Devised a multi-channel off- and online strategy, created key new content, and drove an email marketing initiative

    • Conceptualized (creative & content) and executed a traditional newsletter mailing (print)

    • Branded the campaign, creating and distributing posters and banners throughout the community

    • Designed and rolled out an impactful social media campaign on Facebook

    • Ignited a public relations campaign featuring personal stories from stakeholders, published weekly on the local newspaper's front page to boost community awareness

    • Provided guidance and mentorship to three directors

    Results:

✔️ Secured 30% of total corporate and individual donations in just three months, attaining TIER 1 = $280K within 7 months
✔️ Integrated new tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, and Canva during the digital transformation process
✔️ Instilled critical competencies, particularly in strategic social media planning

  • Rebranding & Web Design

The existing website for Razzino Associates was professional yet simplistic, falling short of reflecting Janelle's energy, enthusiasm, and dedication. Janelle knew the need for rebranding, yet she was uncertain if anyone could truly capture her unique persona and working style.

    Strategy:

    • Reviewed current brand and its perception in the market, defined brand identity and unique selling proposition

    • Streamlined logo and tagline, updated color palette, typography, and other visual elements to match the new brand identity, and aligned tone and style of written content with the brand identity

    • Redesigned website, reflecting new branding in its design, content, and user experience

    • Tracked audience response and made necessary adjustments

    Results:

✔️ Boosted traffic to the website
✔️ Produced new clients and increased candidate portfolio

    Strategy:

Instead of just crafting a singular newsletter, I identified the broader needs of the organization of 105 years, established a solid infrastructure, amplified marketing capabilities, and significantly boosted brand recognition.
